Yogafest Yokohama 2019

Yogafest Yokohama is one of the largest yoga events to take place annually in Asia. The grand festival offers an excellent opportunity for learning and doing yoga in Yokohama, a port city 30 minutes away from Tokyo by train.
There are a good variety of lessons fit for practitioners at all levels, amateurs and yoga professionals alike.
Yogafest is also great for shopping nice yoga outfits and gears, obtaining the most up-to-date information in the industry and meeting with fellow yogis.

Enjoy change and embrace change, by practicing yoga.
◆200 yoga classes to deepen yoga experience
A total of 200 yoga classes will await you there. You may take as many lessons as you like, free or paid.
More than half the classes are free of charge. There will also be a few sessions for kids and moms-to-be.
A great number of yoga teachers from all over Japan and overseas will come to offer their lessens. For the 2019 edition, the Japanese yoga teachers to participate include Ken Harakuma, Akira Watamoto, Yukari Miwa and Ritsuko Tanaka.
◆Three areas to fully enjoy yoga
The venue is divided into three zones to host yoga lessons and yoga-themed stalls.
Showcase area (Exhibition Hall D): admission free
The indoor mall will host a variety of stands run by Japanese and international brands. Find your yoga wear and gear, food and superfood, and other items to help practice your passion.
Garden area (Piloti): admission free
Go for open-air yoga lessons.
Academy area (Annex and Harbour Lounge): for paid lessons
A great variety of sessions will be offered by renowned yoga teachers and professionals.
