    The Promised Neverland

The Promise Neverland” (約束のネバーランド: Yakusoku-no-neverland) is a Japanese manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu.

The story is about Emma, an 11 year old orphan, and her “brothers and sisters” or other children raised at an orphanage called the Grace Field House. They face and overcome together one hardship after another in a fantastical world.

Published in “Weekly Jump” magazine since 2016, the manga came to the end with issue 28, published on 15 June 2020.

The “dark fantasy” manga books have sold more than 21 million copies in Japan and won numerous awards.

What not to miss of “The Promised Neverland” exhibition

The exhibition at Tokyo City View will be the first to display The Promised Neverland’s original drawings.

It will trance the evolution of the amazing adventure from the beginning through the end.

Discover (or reunite with) those poignant scenes from the manga, with tones and nuances that can be found only with the original drawings.
