Tokyo Midtown Hibiya will soon hold its annual cinema festival, offering free outdoor movies.

Highlights of HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2023

The theme of the sixth HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL in 2023 is “nagara Cinema”, inviting visitors to watch movies leisurely in their own style – while munching snacks, chatting with friends, playing with small kids, lying down….

The space with a large outdoor screen will be divided into six zones according to such purposes.

In the afternoon, drop by to watch popular family movies, such as “Charlie and the Chocolate” Factory” and the “Harry Potter” series.

HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2023 – Night Programme

The night programme, held under the banner of “Toronto Japanese Film Festival in Hibiya ” will feature eight popular Japanese films from this year’s Toronto Japanese Film Festival.

One film will be screened every day with English subtitles.

Not to miss, the director of each film will be on stage for a 30-minute talk before the screening.

【Hours】6:30 – 9 p.m. *Director’s talk session: 6:30 – 7 p.m.
【Price】 Admission free *Advance reservation required for some seats
