From the end of April through May, Tokyo Midtown at Roppongi will invite visitors to come relax in its early summer garden.

Like to have a small escape from the hustle and bustle of life and relax outdoors in the middle of Tokyo?
“Midtown Open the Park” – garbled though it may be as an English expression – is a popular event that Tokyo Midtown hosts every year, opening its lush green garden for people to spend time leisurely under the sun.
The theme for 2023 is picnicking. Come and see a playground for families and friends to be open on the lawn, with a stall for takeaway food and drinks.
To make the event even more colourful, koinobori carp streamers will be swimming in the sky during the “Open-the-park” event period, celebrating Children’s Day.
