The present show celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Columbia-born artist Fernando Botero (1932 -).

After Shibuya, Tokyo, it will travel to Nagoya and Kyoto.

About “Botero: Magic in Full Form”

This solo show dedicated to Fernando Botero, South America’s best-known artist, takes place for the first time in 26 years in Japan.

On view are about 70 large-scale paintings and drawings by Botero, from his early days to recent years, including the world premiere exhibit of “Profile of Mona Lisa” (2022).
