  • Autumn leaves event 2017

    18 November – 3 December 2017
    Koishikawa Korakuen Garden

Koishikawa Korakuen is a Japanese garden originally created by the Mito-branch of Tokugawa family in 1629 during the early Edo period. The landscape skillfully represents a lake, a mountain, a river and fields.

Located in the middle of Tokyo, this garden is an excellent place to view fall foliage, as the leaves of some 480 Japanese maple trees turn rich orange and red. At this time of the year, Koishikawa Korakuen holds a few events for visitors to also enjoy traditional Japanese arts.
