Sumida Aquarium
Sumida Aquarium was opened in 2012, on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Sky Tree Town®. Without prescribed order of visit, guests may go upstairs and downstairs freely to their heart’s content. The aquarium’s most popular stars are: the jellyfish floating like a fantasy; spotty garden eels stretching out their body out of sandy burrows; and penguins in the indoor pool, allowing visitors to have a close look at them. The aquarium is good for visit in family, on a date or in solo, and can be an extra-attraction when sightseeing and shopping at Sky Tree. It opens until 9 pm in the evening, so dropping in after school or after work is also easy. Events and programmes are plenty. The purchase of an annual pass for the price of two regular tickets can be a good deal for frequent visitors.
