    Get wrapped up in Hawaiian lifestyle and wellness during the Golden Week holidays 2018. This first-time event at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi will feature Hawaiian music, dance, art and life.

    The festival will be infused by good vibes, with hula dance by professional and amateur artists, live performances by musicians with wonderful sounds and voice, strumming ukulele…

    The grassy yard will offer a pleasant setting for hula, yoga and ukulele workshops, all free of charge.

    And at Hawaiian markets, find your favourite items and perhaps learn a craft or two with artists from Hawaii.

    Highlights of HML Festival

    ◆ Hawaiian music and dance

    The festival will be opened with the “Na Hoku Hanohano Awards”, followed by excellent concerts staged by Hawaiian musicians. The section will also host a competition to choose hula halau (dancing teams) to represent Japan for the annual “Hula ‘Oni E” competition in Hawaii.

    ◆ “ART + FLEA” market

    Hawaii’s artist community “ART + FLEA” will land in Japan for the first time to open a flea market of Hawaiian fashion, art, music, food and a variety of stylish articles. Meet here Hawaii’s hot artists and vendors, who will also stage performances and offer workshops.
