Pearl Center shoten-gai in Asagaya, located in the west of Shinjuku, is a shopping street of about 700 meters, stretching from JR Asagaya Station to Ome-kaido Street near the subway Minami-asagaya Station.

It is on this arcaded street lined with a variety of shops that Asagaya Tanabata Festival will take place for the 65th time this year.
