ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM
Grand opening on 28 August 2020
The “Art Aquarium”, a delightful summer exhibition with installations using goldfish in illuminated aquariums, has drawn millions of paying visitors over the years.
From this summer, this brilliant show becomes permanent: the Art Aquarium Museum will be opened in August at Nihonbashi, central Tokyo.
Art Aquarium Museum
Produced by a Japanese artist Hidetomo Kimura, the art aquarium revives an age-old tradition to admire gold fish, by blending art, traditional crafts, design and entertainment.
A brand-new, two-storied building is dedicated to this art. The venue is approximately 2,321 square meters, about three times the size of the venue of past exhibitions in Tokyo.
