• Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2015

    3-4, 10-11 October 2015

The art of Japanese tea is all about pursuing the ultimate beauty in every aspect of making tea and receiving guests. Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2015 offers a great occasion to get initiated into this art in a casual manner and with English translation. Two venues are available: Hamarikyu, a landscaped Japanese garden dating from the Edo Period; Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, located inside Koganei Park in a western suburb of Tokyo, displaying historical buildings and houses (a few of them served as models for the settings of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film “Spirited Away”). Perfect places to experience a tea ceremony with traditional atmosphere.
