MIDTOWN BLOSSOM 2017
17 March – 16 April 2017
In spring, about 150 cherry trees go in full bloom at Tokyo Midtown, together with the adjacent Hinokicho Park (Minato-ku).
To celebrate cherry blossom and also the tenth anniversary of Tokyo Midtown on 30 March, a series of events will be organized under the banner “spring of hospitality”.
◆ Illuminated cherry trees
The cherry blossoms lining Sakura Street, a stretch of some 200 meters, will be lit up in different shades of colours according to the extent of flower blossoming. At night the illuminated cherry trees create even more fantastic atmosphere, which may also be enjoyed from above, from some of Midtown’s restaurants.
