    17 – 19 September 2016
    Pacifico Yokohama

With some 50,000 participants, Yogafest Yokohama is probably the biggest annual yoga festival held in the greater metropolitan area. In Yokohama, a port city 30 minutes away from Tokyo, immerse yourself in yoga for three days. You may take as many lessons as you like (free or paid) and meet the most popular yoga teachers, including Ken Harakuma, Akira Watamono, SHIHO (fashion model) and Ritsuko Tanaka (TV personality).

The venue is divided into three zones:

At “Park Area” (free admission), join free, open-air yoga lessons on the lawn with a superb view of Tokyo Bay. You can also opt for relax mode, simply lying down on the grass or picnicking with kids.

Also free admission, “Showcase Area” is an indoor mall with a variety of stands run by Japanese and international brands. Find your yoga wear and gear, food and superfood, and other items to help practice your passion.

Finally, “Academic Area” (paid area) is for those who wish to further deepen the practice. A variety of lessons will be offered by renowned yoga teachers to cater to the needs of the beginners, advanced students, yoga teachers and professionals respectively.
