• Visit a sake brewery in Tokyo: Ozawa Shuzo

    Ome, Tokyo

Fresh air and spring water of nature-rich Okutama, carefully selected rice, knowledge and technique of master brewers: visit and learn about the secret of making sake at Ozawa Shuzo, a brewery founded around 1702 and known for its brand “Sawanoi”.

The company’s president and employees take turns to guide tours and tell you about the process. The icing on the cake, tasting sake comes at the end of the visit. Pick up an English leaflet if you happen to join the tour without a bilingual friend to accompany you.

The tour is free, and needs to be reserved beforehand on the company’s website or by telephone: indicate a preferred date, time, your name and contacts (address, telephone and email) and the number of people in your group (up to 10 people).
