Unwind and reconnect with yourself this fall with free yoga and meditation.
The sessions (in the Japanese language) take place in a pleasant, open space at Roppongi, beneath an autumn moon.
Mid-Park yoga autumn 2018
Mid-Park Yoga is a popular event to take place during the semiannual Midtown Relax Park, to be held this fall from 14 September to 8 October.
The theme of Mid-Park Yoga autumn 2018 is Moon Viewing (tsukimi or o-tsukimi) and meditation.
Stretch out on the lawn. Feel the sky. Savour the gentle rustling sound of leaves.
“Sunset Meditation” is a new programme this season, to be held on Saturday evenings. The aim is to deepen meditation practices for peace of mind through relaxing yoga.
The 22 September session will be led by Waka Nozawa, a popular yoga teacher.

Moon Yoga (O-tsukimi yoga)
Go barefoot out on the lawn and relax. Get rid of summer fatigue with O-tsukimi yoga.
Feel the power of the moon and particularly that of the Harvest Moon on 24 September. The latter has been appreciated for moon viewing (o-tsukimi) in Japan and elsewhere in Asia since long time ago (to be precise, it is the moon of the 15th night of the eighth month in the luni-solar calendar).
Moon Yoga sessions will be held twice daily.
