Train Suite Shikishima, a brand-new “cruise train” will be launched in May 2017 by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Shikihima (a coined word meaning “island of four seasons”) invites you to new luxury travel in total comfort to discover Japan. A variety of tour packages, ranging from one to three nights, will be available to experience local culture, mainly in the north-eastern region of Tohoku and Hokkaido.
