    Digital Art Garden 2019

    12 July – 25 August 2019
    Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi)

Tokyo Midtown will host its annual summertime celebration entitled “Midtown Loves Summer” starting in mid-July.

It is a pleasant assortment of open-air fare, to give cooling effects during the hottest period in the country.

And this in a delightfully creative, Japanese style – a garden coming with an “engawa” and a fine cool mist; a cool stream to soak your feet (“ashimizu“); and a café bar open in the lush green courtyard.

The main event will take place in Midtown’s lawn space, where a Japanese garden will appear, thanks to digital art.

This special garden will be equipped with an “engawa” (a narrow wooden walkway in the Japanese architecture), on which you can take a seat – dangling your feet in the garden filled with a fine cool mist.

Imagine now that you are sitting on the porch of a Japanese house, looking into the garden.
