    17 November – 2 December 2018
    Koishikawa Korakuen Garden

Koishikawa Korakuen is a Japanese garden originally created during the early Edo period, by Yorifusa, the founder of the Mito Tokugawa family in 1629 and completed by his successor Mitsukuni. It is a stroll garden landscaped to represent lakes, mountains, a river and fields.

Located in the middle of Tokyo, this garden is an excellent place to view fall foliage, as the leaves of some 480 Japanese maple trees (“momiji”) turn rich orange and red.

At this time of the year, Koishikawa Korakuen holds a few events for visitors to also enjoy traditional Japanese arts.
