Tokyo Big Sight
One of the largest animation events in the country, AnimeJapan is coming back to Tokyo Big Sight. The 2017 edition is packed with programmes as exciting as ever!
◆ RED, GREEN, BLUE open stage
A great line up of stage performances will rock you: presentation of the latest anime features, talk shows, live music and more! Total 51 programmes, with the capacity of 45,500 people.
(*Admission for those who have obtained the right by preliminary lot drawing only. Purchase an advance ticket coming with the “entitlement to lot drawing” by 19 February 2017).
◆ Cosplayers’ World
Dress up in cosplay as your favourite character (registration required). Larger space is allotted for the purpose this year. Girls’ premium changing room will be available (fees extra).
◆ Anime partnerships
The exhibits show ten products and campaigns using anime features, such as Makoto Shinkai’s “Your Name” and “SUNTORY (Natural water)”.
◆ AJ Gacha
From popular titles to latest works, 30 kinds of tin badges (a limited edition of AnimeJapan) can be purchased randomly with “Gacha Gacha” (capsule-toy vending machine).
◆ Production Works Gallery
The animation production works and techniques are presented in the Creation Area, with the exhibits of actual production materials used in the movie “Detective Conan: the Darkest Nightmare” (2016).

Two Introductory Courses and eight Basic Courses will be given.
◆ Seminar for would-be creators
Animation companies and vocation schools will provide career counselling. Direct advice will be given by prominent creators at seminars.
◆ Food Park supported by “d anime store”
Offers special menus.
Simultaneous event “Family Anime Fest” is free all day. Primary school kids and younger, accompanied by their parents, only.
