The 32th Kappabashi Utensil Festival

Kappabashi, located in walking distance from Asakusa, is a great place not only for chefs and restaurant owners looking for professional equipment, but also a fun place for all lovers of cuisine and utensils. On a stretch of 800 meters, some 170 wholesalers sell a variety of bowls and dishes, Japanese knives, kitchen materials and machineries, wrapping items, plastic food replicas for affordable prices. During its annual festival, treasure hunters flock to the street filled with merry atmosphere to purchase items for bargain prices. The 2015 edition of the festival features Cool Japan, appealing high quality of Japanese utensils and attractive features of Kappabashi.
