  • 18th DOMANI: The Art of Tomorrow

    The National Art Center in Roppongi presents selected works of Japanese artists that highlight well the relationship between representation and the material in paintings, textiles, animation, installation and more. Entitled “Domani, the Art of Tomorrow”, the yearly exhibition showcases since 1998, works of young artists who studied abroad under the Japanese Government Overseas Study Programme funded by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

    The artists featured this year are: Takashi Kuribayashi, Takafumi Kijima, Yuichiro Tamura, Sachiko Sen, ALIMO, Mutsumi Noda, Aika Furukawa, Naoko Tomioka, Kayo Nishinomiya, Keisuke Matsuoka, Hiroe Saeki, and a guest artist Sachiko Kazama. The achievements of Mie Ishii and Shoko Okumura who studied conservation and restoration techniques are also displayed.
