Kasai Rinkai Park is a spacious park situated on the seaside of Tokyo (and in the neighbourhood of Tokyo Disneyland). It consists of five zones created under the theme “the flora, the water and human interaction”.

A popular weekend family resort, the park is the home to one of the largest Ferris wheels in Japan (Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel), an aquarium (Tokyo Sea Life Park), a bird garden and a hotel run by Tokyo’s Edogawa City (Hotel Seaside Edogawa). Outdoor barbecue is also possible (reservation required). For a walk on the beach, Kasai Marine Park with twin artificial beaches is located right off the shore, connected by a bridge.

In spring, about 760 cherry trees go into bloom (such as Somei Yoshino, Oshima-zakura and Sato-zakura species), making floral canopies along a path, and here and there in the park. For a romantic view, head to the park around the sunset when the Ferris wheel is lit up. Together, the blossoms create a dreamy atmosphere.
